Our board includes individuals from a number of industry sectors and backgrounds. We believe that this gives us the requisite skills, contacts and experience to achieve the goals that we have set for ourselves and our shareholders:
Chairman – Martin Thompson. Martin founded and developed the Ultimate Travel Company, a tour operator specialising in tailor-made luxury holidays, prior to which he was UK Managing Director of Abercrombie & Kent. He has chaired and acted as a director of a number of private companies, ranging from the Property to the Leisure sectors. He invested in Ubitrac in 2012 and took over from Alistair Troughton as Chairman in July of that year.
CEO – Stuart Henry. Stuart is an experienced Managing Director and Vice President with experience across EMEA and APAC and multiple industry sectors. For the past 15 years he has been involved in Telecoms and Technology with the likes of Nokia, Orange and Carphone Warehouse prior to which he held senior positions with Grand Met Foods and Guinness. His primary focus throughout has been on leadership and business development. He is an Insead alumnus.
Managing Director and Founder – Tony Foote. Tony started his 30 year career in Communications with Marconi, leading their dealer channel. He has since established several significant Dealer Channel operations for start ups such as Quadrant PLC, Access, PIC and UK Cellular and more recently consulted on mergers, acquisitions and strategy for NTT DOCOMO and OpenHand.
Non-Executive Director – Alistair Troughton. Alistair is Sales & Marketing Director of Hampden Capital Plc , who provide services to clients and institutions underwriting at Lloyd’s of London. He has worked in the international insurance markets for over 40 years and has built lasting relationships at all levels in the industry, both in the UK and overseas. Alistair chaired Ubitrac through its initial fundraising and R&D phases, raising significant funds for the Company.
Non-Executive Director – Wayne Lochner. Wayne is credited with revolutionising the ‘White Label’ concept in the UK with his Affinity Internet Plc, which acted with over 400 White Label partners . He is a serial entrepreneur winning the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2000.
Non-Executive Director – Tim Sagar. Tim has worked at Board and Senior Management level for Motorola, NEC, Alcatel and other leading companies. He currently consults for a number of leading manufacturers and brings a wealth of experience and contacts in the communications sector.
